Essie von Esche is a delightful, 11-12 month-old Husky/Shepherd mix. Happy little Essie looks forward to her walk! Her walking skills have improved so much since her first days here, and she walks fabulously on leash with minimal corrections.Teacher’s pet Essie knows sit, stay and shake. Talk about a valedictorian! She does swimmingly with other dogs and is the happiest little girl when she invites them to play. She likes dogs of all sizes, but she can’t say the same about cats. This active girl would love having another doggy sibling to play with at home and wants nothing more than to go on adventures with her forever family. Essie goes on our monthly hikes to Griffith Park, rides great in the car and gets comfortable by making herself a little nest with some blankets. When you leave her alone, she knows how to entertain herself by playing with her toys or lying down for a nap. She might be small but her dreams are big!
